Tara is pleased to announce the introduction of Solaris Organic Leaf Teas. Blended in Ireland, these teas are prepared by experts in the arts of tea blending and the healing powers of plants.

The range consists of hand picked top grade loose WHOLE leaf teas. Where possible these teas are blended from Spring Flush (First season harvest) teas in order to optimise freshness and vitamin content. Whole leaf teas maintain the optimum levels of antioxidants and other health promoting properties - as well as enhanced taste.

Organic Earl Grey
Made from top grade organic Darjeeling and steamed over organic Bergamot to lend it a refreshing citrus top note... the judges at the Great Taste awards gave it their highest award in 2007 - Triple Starred Gold.

Green Tea Chai
Hand blended first grade Sencha Green Tea and crushed green cardamom together with Star Anise, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel and whole cloves. One star gold. High levels of antioxidants. Uplifting and energising!

Jasmine Dragon Pearls
Spring Flush Green Tea hand rolled into Dragon pearls, steamed 7 times over jasmine flowers. Amazing scent and flavour!

Lapsang Souchong
Fully Fermented Black Tea smoked over Pine wood. Amazing scent. Sweet after tone!

Mate Chocolate Mint
Green Mate combined with Cocoa peels and peppermint. Rich in antioxidants A, C, E & B. Uplifting and energising with much lower caffeine than coffee!

King of Pu-Erh
Fresh tea buds from wild growing trees, uniquely fermented to help activate health promoting ingredients. Clinical studies confirm Pu-Erh's effectiveness in lowering cholestorol.

Rooibos Chocolate Chai
South African Rooibos combined with Cocoa peels and oriental spices. Naturally caffeine free!

Oolong (Shui Xian)
Semi fermented combing the best of Green and Black. Old Chinese people consider it to have anti aging properties!

White Tea Chai

Jasmine Green Tea
1st Grade, Spring Flush Green Tea, steamed over Jasmine flowers - whole flowers are then added to enhance the flavour. In Chinese culture, Jasmine tea is thought to be particularly balancing for women.
